The lead guitar in this song uses the scale Ab Major for the majority with a brief spell in the Ab pentatonic minor key. Its a great little solo to get used to you bends, pre bends hammer ons, pulls off's and slides, all within a nice structure. The chord progression and power chords used in the song are pretty well covered on YouTube already so this is a solo guitar lesson for all you lead guitarists.
