Höfner are pleased to announce a new Limited Edition guitar – The New President with smoked eucalyptus woods used for the back and sides.
This limited edition model of just 15 pieces worldwide is hand crafted in the Hagenau workshops Germany using the finest woods. Featuring a solid spruce top and smoked eucalyptus back and sides it represents the very best craftsmanship and attention to detail that Höfner is renowned for. A natural thin coat finish highlights the beautiful grain and colours of the woods used. The woods are further complimented by superb bindings and purfling reminiscent of the style used in the 1950s heyday of jazz guitar construction. The body width of 16 inches provides the perfect balance between usable size and tonal quality. Fitted with two Höfner “Staple” pickups, a three way switch and individual volume and tone controls a wide variety of expressive tones are available from this master guitar. Fitted with a traditional Höfner “Lyre” tailpiece and a Höfner ebony bridge these compliment the overall classic lines of this jazz guitar.
