In addition, each day during Radio 1 Rocks, the headline acts from each evening show - Bullet For My Valentine (Monday), You Me At Six (Tuesday), Gaslight Anthem (Wednesday) and Biffy Clyro (Thursday) - are all set to perform an acoustic Live Lounge session during Fearne Cotton’s Radio 1 daytime show (10am-12:45pm).

Zane Lowe says: “I can't wait for this. Radio 1 Rocks will be a big week of riffs and laughs with me, Daniel P Carter and rock's biggest and brightest.”

Daniel P Carter says: “I'm super excited about Radio 1 Rocks. It’s going to be a great way to showcase some truly awesome music from UK and international bands highlighting this truly vibrant and exciting genre. I'm looking forward to co-hosting with Zane, hanging out and seeing some wicked live music down at Maida Vale. Both Bring Me The Horizon and While She Sleeps have proven recently that you can get daytime play with honest and uncompromisingly heavy music and it always meets with a positive reaction.”
