Iconic Guitarist Jerry Donahue Gives a November Clinic Tour of UK Fret-King Dealers

Jerry Donahue, former Fotheringay and Fairport Convention guitarist and studio session supremo, is set to take to the road in November 2012 to give some jaw-dropping performances of his Fret-King Black Label JD artist model guitars.

Jerry – who worked closely alongside Fret-King designer and industry guitar guru Trev Wilkinson to create what Guitarist magazine described as a 'stunningly good, musical, versatile guitar' (the magazine also gave the JD a 'Guitarist Choice' award) – will give audiences around the country an intimate demonstration of his classic string bending style, as well as insights into his playing and setup over his 40+ years in the business.

The five date tour, in association with a number of Fret-King guitar dealers across the UK, will also feature leading industry clinician Gav Coulson, who will give an informative round-up of the other models across the Fret-King ranges – Black Label, Blue Label, and the UK hand-built Green Label and STVDIO lines.

The tour will take in Oasis Music in Ringwood, Hampshire, Lister Guitars in Lowestoft, Rock Hard Music in Milton Keynes, and Hot Rox UK in Nottingham, before finishing off at the 6th annual Intersound Guitar Show in Dursley, Gloucestershire.

Fret-King is distributed worldwide by John Hornby Skewes & Co. Ltd. For more information, visit the Fret-King website at www.fret-king.com
