Fifteen years ago Michael Hedges died in a car accident. He was, and still is, the most innovative, creative acoustic guitarist ever seen on stage, a guitar hero that walked on his own artistic path, different from any other. The new generation of acoustic guitarists owes him everything.
Tuesday December 4th, at La Salumeria della Musica in Milan, journalist Ezio Guaitamacchi, guitarists Beppe Gambetta, Pino Forastiere, Guitar Republic, Finaz (Bandabardò), singer Beppe Salvoldelli, and bass player Michael Manring will perform a special tribute concert in memory of Michael Hedges. Music, projections, stories about a “heavy mental” genius, never to be forgotten.
